Fundraising efforts began this week for Shameika Taylor and Jashaela Tunstall to participate in the Emory Summer Pre-college Program. The program will run from July 1st to July 14th. Shameika will be pursuing her interest in law by taking the course Law and Litigation while Jashaela will follow her passion for science by enrolling in the course Infectious Diseases: Causes and Cures. Both courses will be taught by Emory professors.

The cost of the program is $3365 per student and includes tuition, room and board, and weekend and afternoon field trips. It is our goal to again help cover the cost of transportation to and from Emory.

Fund a Brighter Future has filed for 501c3 non-profit status and all donations made will be retroactively tax-deductible pending confirmation of this status.

Please explore our website further to meet Shameika and Jashaela as well as former participants and for more information on how to donate!
